The thin real metal lettering ‘Transcript A.T.’ combines the value of metal with the feasibility of small details and perfect surfaces. It is an exclusive and also expensive labelling option, which is also subject to many requirements. If the conditions are right, this type of product labelling is unrivalled in many respects.
These thin lettering were developed by engineer Roland Kirsten (+) in the 1980s in a French branch as ‘Transcript’. The visually much more convincing further development ‘Transcript A.T.’ is based on nickel or copper. The decorative layers are made of nickel, chrome or gold. In addition to a glossy and matt version, there is also a brushed version. The technology allows for very fine and small details, the surface area for applying the adhesive can be very small. Therefore, two important requirements must always be met by the customer for successful labelling: a clean and even surface with good surface values and a clearly defined application process, the parameters of which must be carefully adhered to.
