The implementation of even small details – such as here with the world-famous Matterhorn – is one of the strengths of the 3-dimensional plastic injection moulding designs that we use in many custom-made products.

Plastic injection moulding requires a special tool. The base part is made from coloured plastic granulate. In an injection moulding machine, the plastic is melted and then injected into the tool under very high pressure. There, the plastic cools and solidifies again. The plastic part usually has a relief pattern. The raised parts can then be decorated with colour by applying a metallised or coloured foil to the relief. In addition,
other technologies can be used for decoration.

We use plastic injection moulding as the basic technology for many of our products: chrome-plated and metallised lettering, logos for labelling devices and machines, name tags, hang tags, deposit signs and shop window and display stand displays, to name just the most important applications. Plastic injection moulding technology is particularly suitable for larger quantities and offers a particularly good price-performance ratio compared to pure metal designs.
