The production of these metal letterings is complex due to the manufacturing process. After embossing, the lettering is individually anodised to increase its durability. In most cases, the lettering is decorated by partial lacquering, with the lacquer then being baked on. The lettering is attached using a foam adhesive insert on the back (automotive quality). A special mould is required for production. Typical quantities are 500 and 1,000 pieces. Due to the individual packaging of the lettering, they are often sold to the end customer via petrol stations, kiosks, hotels, tourist offices or engraving and key services.
